March will see the 40th anniversary of the 'Bed In' staged by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, in an attempt to sell peace to the world. At the time they said that if Christ was alive he would use modern methods of communication to spread his word.
The well known symbol for peace is 51 years old. Designer Gerald Holtom explains the origin of the symbol: I was in despair. Deep despair.
Week four of the 2009 of Nonviolence starts tomorrow, February 20. Here are the themes for the week. Find at least one you'd like to write about. These are all ways we can influence others on the path to nonviolence and peace. Write about these themes from that perspective.
